Alexandria Resource Centre

The Alexandria Resource Centre at our Melton Campus opened in 2019. The modern, spacious, light-filled centre is available to students from 8.15am to 4pm daily, including recess and lunchtime.

Students have access to a range of physical and digital resources and a variety of learning spaces including a designated Senior Study zone, an Instructional zone for classes, a Reading zone and other well-defined learning and teaching spaces.

Fiction titles are arranged in easily identifiable genres, and Non-Fiction titles are similarly arranged in themes. The open space allows books to be displayed in a way that makes them much simpler to find.

The Alexandria Resource Centre provides access to many databases and digital collections, allowing students to satisfy all learning needs outside school hours.

Digital videos are available through the ClickView program, and eBooks and audiobooks can be found via the Wheelers platform.

Resource Centre staff deliver all curriculum and learning support required, both in-person and online through the Library Management System and the St Francis Catholic College Library webpage.

Homework Club for Melton Campus students runs each Wednesday after school until 4.30pm. Students can access teachers and student support officers who can help them achieve their best.

The Alexandria Resource Centre is also home to the Careers Centre, Information Technology Support for the Melton Campus and the College Wellbeing team.

Students can access the Alexandria Resource Centre Infiniti Library Platform by logging in here.
