Year 10 Hospitality

Our Year 10 Hospitality students have had an enjoyable and productive semester developing complex practical skills for food preparation and presentation to industry standards.

The students finished their semester on a high last Friday, preparing beautifully presented and delicious afternoon tea grazing boxes for College staff.

Students designed and produced luscious sponge cakes from scratch earlier this semester, which they decorated to professional cake decorating standards.

Another highlight was the cheese and fruit grazing board – students designed and created the boards using food preparation and garnishing techniques.

I congratulate the Year 10 Hospitality students who have displayed the utmost commitment and dedication to their learning this semester. I wish them well as they complete their end of semester exams.
